RGD Webcast: Future by Design – Design and Narrative: Beyond Storytelling

March 27, 2012

6:30pm - 8:30pm
Sault College, Room M1030
Sault Ste. Marie, ON

RGD Ontario, in collaboration with the Design Exchange, presents Design and Narrative: Beyond Storytelling - a panel discussion on the importance of storytelling and narrative in the design process.

As the role of the designer moves towards a greater involvement in business and culture, it is crucial for designers to understand the importance of storytelling to their work. Creating interactive and participatory design that engages audiences in meaningful ways is dependent on the successful integration of narrative into the design process. Join our panelists as they offer an engaging transdisciplinary perspective on the impact narrative has on how and what we design.

Design and Narrative: Beyond Storytelling is the second in RGD’s new ongoing Future by Design series of panel discussions. These panels are broadcast live via webcast to reach across all parts of the province. Contact programs@rgdontario.com to find out how to participate, or to arrange your own screening!
